I made these the same way that I make a larger quilt. They have a denim top, 1 layer of cotton batting and are backed with the same denim. The cotton binding has been hand finished at the back side and has a loop secured by machine at the corner.

This green and cream striped denim is quilted in a simple basket weave pattern at the top and used in whole on the back. This version has a floral printed cotton binding.

This potholder is approx 7 3/4” x 7 3/4” with a 2 1/2” loop for hanging.
