Set of 2 quilted potholders - I made these the same way that I make a larger quilt. They have a cotton top, cotton batting and are backed with a light colored denim. The cotton binding has been hand finished at the back side and has a loop secured by machine at the corner.

This set is special because they were made with vintage Pierre Deux printed cotton. In the 1980s my uncles worked with the Pierre Deux company, and received a lot of their fabric in return. Some of this fabric was then passed to my mother who made a handful of quilts and dresses with it and then recently, a lot of the leftover pieces were passed to me.

This set is 8” x 8” with a 2 1/2” loop for hanging.
