I made these the same way that I make a larger quilt. They have a cotton top, 2 layers of cotton batting and are backed with a natural denim. The cotton binding has been hand finished at the back side and has a loop secured by machine at the corner.

The top fabric is a favorite from my stash, beautiful illustrations of fruits, vegetables and flowers, perfect for any kitchen. And because of the nature of this print, each potholder is different (see group photo for variation).

This potholder is 7 1/2” x 8” with a 2 1/2” loop for hanging.
